toolkit-for-ynab: Can't edit transactions after today's update

Defective ToolKit Feature Name: ??

Expected Behavior

I can edit a transaction in the account transaction listing

Actual Behavior

I get a popup message when I click in any field of the transaction. It says “An error occurred in Toolkit for YNAB (a browser extension you installed to enhance YNAB). Click here to report the issue to the YNAB Toolkit project”.

I’m having the exact same issue any time I try to change any part of an entry, not just the check number. It will give me the same message as Betsy and force me to refresh, then when it’s refreshed, I click on a box and it starts all over again. This happened on both my desktop at the office and laptop at home, both in Chrome and Firefox. The only way I have been able to use YNAB since this afternoon is to completely disable the Tool Kit.

@Betsy30 this looks like an issue with the check number feature which I’m actually currently re-writing anyway. I won’t likely get an update out for it until the weekend so you could disable the feature for now if that’s alright!

@Pistarino several different features have been identified as broken since the June 28th YNAB update. All have been fixed except for the popup calculator which I’m still working on. The fixes will be available with the next ToolKit release (not sure exactly when that’ll happen).

@joshmadewell I followed your advice about disabling check number feature and it seems to have resolved my problem as it did for @internettie1960. When will we know we can turn the feature back on?

@joshmadewell Thank you. I turned off the Check Number field and now I’m able to run my budget again. I’ll check after the weekend to see if I can add it back in without issue. Thanks.
