core: Home Assistant is repeatedly restarting after a critical error in the Stream component
The problem
I am seeing random but fairly frequent restarts of Home Assistant immediately after this log entry:

CRITICAL (stream_worker) [libav.generic] Assertion next_dts <= 0x7fffffff failed at libavformat/movenc.c:1082
Additional information
I have a total of 6 camera entities, 2 via the ONVIF integration, 2 via the Synology integration, 1 Ring doorbell, and a “camera” that shows the cleaning map from my Neato vacuum. I am occasionally seeing this error in the logs also but they are more frequent then and do not seem to correlate with the restarts ERROR (stream_worker) [homeassistant.components.stream.stream.camera.pool_camera_onvif] Error from stream worker: Timestamp overflow detected: last dts = 3993917904, dts = 44547584

Yes, this option is currently only available on generic. I’ll reopen the issue and tag it with ONVIF and EZVIZ as it looks like those integrations need to allow the option as well.
having the same problem for a while, stream from Ezviz camera, got the error with both preload checked and unchecked
