ring: Since IOS 16 Update cameras are not shown anymore

Describe the Bug

After updating devices from IOS 15 to IOS 16, devices are not shown in home anymore. Eventough they are in homebridge. Devices with older IOS versions still showing ring cameras.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Update from IOS 15 to IOS 16
Look if the accessories (cameras) are still shown in homekit

Expected behavior

Home should show ring cameras in homekit dashboard

But honestly I do not know where to find the HomeKit-Code for my ring cameras

The code should be in the logs for your homebridge server

I use the Ring motion notifications and according to others on GitHub, the v10+ ones eliminate that as an option

That is not entirely accurate. A small percentage of users have had issues on v10+, but it works just fine for the vast majority. I’d recommend you update and try it out, you most likely won’t have any issues.
