deluminate: Infinite or flickering horizontal scrollbar

What version of Chrome are you using?

57.0.2987.110 (Official Build) (64-bit)

What version of Deluminate do you have installed?

0.7.4

What Operating System are you using?

Gentoo Linux 64-bit

What is the problem?

On some pages, I get an infinite horizontal scrollbar.

On others, a horizontal scrollbar flickers into existence about once per second, then dissappears almost immediately. Frequency of appearance varies, but seems to start out at once per second, sometimes decreasing or increasing.

Both issues appeared at the same time, so I suspect they’re related.

Can you link to a web page that has the problem?

Infinite horizontal scrollbar https://www.kernel.org/doc/Documentation/early-userspace/README Flickering horizontal scrollbar https://jenkins.io/ and this issue’s page on github (#420)

Which Deluminate modes have the problem?

All but Normal

Not the ideal fix, but go to chrome://flags/ and enable Overlay Scrollbar to get rid of the flashing. It replaces the scrollbars with hideaway/translucent ones.

@Rojikku that issue is about an unnecessary scrollbar only, correct? I don’t care so much about that, but do care very much about the incessant flickering (or perhaps more accurately, strobing) that I mentioned.
