- I have searched the issues of this repo and believe that this is not a duplicate
- OS version and name: Catalina V10.15.1

when using this download, no problem https://github.com/zeit/hyper/releases/download/3.0.2/Hyper-3.0.2.dmg
Also, can confirm. Downloading the .zip file from the website did not work. The DMG referenced worked fine.

this issue started with Catalina, https://medium.com/cacher-app/getting-your-electron-app-working-on-macos-catalina-10-15-63e53f397da2 Either the download link should point to dmg file or the steps in the above blog need to be setup. @Stanzilla
