vapor: Project cannot be opened because the project file cannot be parsed.

I am just starting with vapor and am trying to create a project.

I already had Xcode 8 (release version) installed, so I started by installing vapor with:

curl -sL check.vapor.sh | bash

And I got the compatible output:

I then installed the tool box:

url -sL toolbox.vapor.sh | bash

And I got the compatible output:

All those errors you see are from when I had Xcode 7 and installed Alcatraz. The plugins don’t exist anymore (I think).

I then checked to see if it installed correctly and ran vapor --help:

I then ran ls to make sure I was in the right directory. I got this output, so I continued:

I am comfortable using Xcode and wanted to use it, so I ran cd hello-world/ and vapor xcode and this was the output:

Instead of opening the project, I got this error from Xcode:

Is there any guess as to why This is happening? Note what OS I am running:

• Xcode 8
• OS X 10.11.6

Some people said to look for a git conflict in the project.pbxproj, but I couldn’t find anything.

Is there a way to find where the error is coming from?
