It means things are not going well for you. llvmpipe is a fallback CPU renderer, it’s too slow for games.
It will likely start with
LD_PRELOAD=noepollexcl.so %command%in the launch options. Note that this is a rather crude hack, I would not recommend actually playing any multiplayer matches with it (might degrade performance too much, cause deadlocks or get you VAC banned).Don’t forget to complain in the proper place. The drm-kmod people don’t react at all if you don’t shove issues right in their face. (And even then they might not have time to address those issues.)
The Linux emulation is not advanced enough to run Linux container stuff (that includes pressure-vessel). As an alternative I provide an option to run Steam Runtime in an unprivileged (that is, non-superuser) chroot , but you have to specifically select it in the compatibility tab in the game settings.
