salt: [BUG] New salt version is incompatible with SEP 14

Description

The release numbering of saltstack is documented in SEP 14. But this only describes a MAJOR.MINOR release numbering. The current release has a dash in it, v3005.1-2, and It’s not clear what this should be interpret as.

It should be noted it will probably not work with a lot of downsteam semver’ish comparisons.

The Salt Debian package is now 3005.1+ds-2, for example.

I agree though, that ec1db3a should have made this 3005.2. I didn’t realise that change was in there. I didn’t spot that was a test file only. No actual code was changed.

That’s not the current release version (which is 3005.1), that’s a package version.

The dash indicates repackaging of the same release, and has been pretty standard in Salt and Debian and RedHat for many years.
