rust-analyzer: Nightly broken: Assertion failed: Bad release
It seems CI just failed and pushed a broken release.
I get the “New version of rust-analyzer (nightly) is available (requires reload).” popup in vscode, if I click update I get an Assertion failed: Bad release error. (full error)
If I ignore the popup, nothing works. It’d be nice to allow the old version to keep working if the new version can’t be downloaded, otherwise users get stuck unable to work 😃

Reopen VSCode or use
Reload Windowin command palette and ignore the update popup. rust-analyzer will continue to use the current version.@codingstar this time it’s something else.
If you have Code 1.63, you can install the pre-release version directly from the Marketplace, but things might be wonky for a while. There’s also a weird issue where you get the release from two weeks ago if you install the stable version.
