Am-I-affected-by-Meltdown: Your cpu doesn't support TSX (Transactional Synchronization Extensions)

When getting the message above, does this mean that the CPU isn’t affected or that Am-I-affected-by-Meltdown not able to check? I presume the latter from the note in README.md, but I figured I’d better check.

The latter. I’ll improve the checker to work without TSX

It works! Thanks man!

Checking whether system is affected by Variant 3: rogue data cache load (CVE-2017-5754), a.k.a MELTDOWN … Checking syscall table (sys_call_table) found at address 0xffffffff81a00200 … 0xffffffff812114d0 -> That’s SyS_read

System affected! Please consider upgrading your kernel to one that is patched with KAISER Check https://security.googleblog.com/2018/01/todays-cpu-vulnerability-what-you-need.html for more details
