mcstatus: Query throws a "OSError: [Errno 107] Transport endpoint is not connected"

When I try to query my minecraft server running on localhost, I get a “Transport endpoint is not connected” error. The minecraft server has enable-query=true and query.port=25565. The status option works. The query option works when I ping my minecraft server from my local machine. I assume it’s because my local machine is running an older version of mcstatus.
