polybar: [SOLVED] Network Module always shows "Not Connected"
It always shows “disconnected” even when it is connected and working. The interface is right and i can’t find any other issue.
I’m using an USB Wi-Fi adapter, and it should work normally, but this doesn’t happens.

Yeah, seems like your wifi adapter doesn’t work with the new library. Is it an older adapter?
You can try to recompile polybar and pass the
-DWITH_LIBNL=OFFto cmake, this should force polybar to build withwireless_tools, which should support the adapter.Awesome! Merry Christmas to you too!
I haven’t found much information about that adapter and no release year. I hope there aren’t too many adapters out there where nl80211 isn’t supported. I was planning on dropping support for
wireless_toolsin the next major release, but maybe we need to wait on that.
