vimium: navigation keys don't work on most pages

I installed vimium 1.45 but find out only very few of the keys work as excepted, like (x, f, r, /), navigation keys don’t work at all on whatever pages I opened. The same under incognito mode with only vimium loaded.

update

For now, the only pages that navigation keys work is the vimium options tab: chrome-extension://dbepggeogbaibhgnhhndojpepiihcmeb/pages/options.html

update 2

upgraded my chrome yesterday

@deiga

I didn’t try all of the keys, here’s what I found:

keys that work on all pages ( except the ones excluded by vimium & chrome pages )

  • close tab (‘x’) & reopen (‘X’)
  • open links (‘f’)
  • go back in history (‘H’)
  • search mode (‘/’)
  • reload (‘r’)
  • open page/bookmark (‘o’)
  • view page source (‘gs’)
  • create a new tab (‘t’)

keys that doesn’t work on all http pages

literally all pages, including the one that works for @leoj3n

  • navigation keys
  • go to top/bottom (‘gg’ and ‘G’)

pages that vimium work just fine

  • chrome-extension://dbepggeogbaibhgnhhndojpepiihcmeb/pages/options.html

problems with other extensions

I tried using vimium in incognito mode, where all other extensions should be disabled, it’s exactly the same. And I also tried killing all other apps with just chrome left, in incognito mode, the same.
