payload: npm install not working on fresh template installations

Describe the Bug

Cannot install or update dependencies after fresh installation of payload templates. Tested with “website” and “payload-demo”, might fail with other templates as well.

To Reproduce

Run npx create-payload-app and select either “website” or “payload-demo”
cd into the project
run npm install or npm update
It fails

You should definitely have some automatic CI hook for checking all your template builds are healthy.

@dag0310 what error do you get after running npm install? You may need to use npm install --legacy-peer-deps.

@Kibuye24 those warnings should not prevent your app from running, what happens when view the app in the browser? (i.e. go to localhost:3000)
