oppia: Fractions Input is not Displayed Properly in Playthroughs
Describe the bug
FractionInput answers are rendered as [object Object] in playthrough step summaries.
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Go to this exploration.
- Scroll down and click Issue 5.
- Open “View Playthrough 1”.
- See answer’s column.
Observed behavior
Found [object Object] in place of an answer.
Expected behavior There should be a fraction rendered as the answer.

Hi, I don’t think you can reload this particular exploration locally. However, looks like the error can be reproduced by creating an exploration with fraction input, and then adding some rules/feedback, and then playing the exploration multiple times where different answers are given, and they match to the different rules you created. Now navigate back to the statistics tab, and you’ll see a list similar to the issue statement. This should probably happen on both Dev environment and prod env. Let me know if this helps!
Hi @yashdusing, are you running your local server in production mode?
That is most likely the reason you aren’t seeing any issues. Note that working in a prod environment means you’ll have to cancel and run that command every time you make a frontend code-change!
