I’m seeing this 0.8.5 with both single-line and block comments. Restarting Atom does fix it, but here’s the (potentially) interesting thing: every time the plugin is disabled and re-enabled, I get an extra new line.
I started experiencing this immediately after updating to the 0.8.x series of this module. I had used it with no problem prior to the update. Now, every time I hit enter within a comment block, I get two. Restarts haven’t helped. I’ll try deactivating / reactivating packages.
Update: Deactivating and reactivating community packages fixed the issue. Haven’t seen it since.
For me, hitting tab resulted in a similar behaviour, in that the highlighted section moved on from the description to the first parameter. This now makes me think that it might have something to do with event bubbling or some other place in atom where the keystroke events are being propagated further than they should be.
