mirdata: Cannot clone mirdata library on Windows

Hello, I tried to clone the mirdata library in my computer. Every time I try, it gives me the following error- `$ git clone https://github.com/mir-dataset-loaders/mirdata.git Cloning into ‘mirdata’… remote: Enumerating objects: 7300, done. remote: Counting objects: 100% (1861/1861), done. remote: Compressing objects: 100% (723/723), done. remote: Total 7300 (delta 1315), reused 1619 (delta 1108), pack-reused 5439 Receiving objects: 100% (7300/7300), 492.03 MiB | 7.52 MiB/s, done. You can inspect what was checked out with ‘git status’ and retry with ‘git restore --source=HEAD 😕’

The folder remains empty thereafter. Need help!!

I have been trying to deal with this as well because I mainly work on Windows. I think it is due to the colon character, which is illegal for Windows directories. [...]/Geetinandan : Part-3 by Ajoy Chakrabarty/Bairagi/Bairagi.bpm-manual.txt

@migperfer I did it on Fedora and it worked, I was unable to locate the problem in windows.

Just out of curiosity: have you try pip install mirdata instead?

I have installed the mirdata library in one of my anaconda environments by using pip.
