vscode: Unable to update via apt : mirror sync in progress ?

Since a few days i can’t update vscode via apt update

OS Version: Ubuntu 20.04

This worked for me on Ubuntu 20.04. First, remove all the vscode related files in source.list.d and then update your packages.

sudo rm -rf /etc/apt/sources.list.d/vscode.list*
sudo apt-get update

I spent more than 6 hours searching for a solution and finally above mentioned solution worked. Hope this helps.
