Apologies for not responding earlier, I was on vacation.

In the case of being behind a network proxy, it’s possible that HTTP requests made from Composer’s NodeJS process are being blocked by your corporate firewall.

If you happen to know the specific address of your corporate firewall’s proxy server, then you can start up Composer with the HTTPS_PROXY or https_proxy environment variables set with the address and Composer should properly pass outgoing requests to the proxy.

Ex: HTTPS_PROXY=https://www.somecorporateproxy.com:5000
