I just ran in to this problem. Then looking at the log files that have been previously uploaded (as well as mine) I noticed that full paths are recorded in the log file. This is potentially a pii leak or otherwise divulges other info about the host system (i.e. what drives are available, install location, or project names, etc). Shouldn’t the paths in these type of reports be scrubbed/generalized before they are written to disk considering you’re asking folks to upload them to a location where everyone can see the info?

Acknowledged. We believe the solution is to webpack the extension, but the base YAML language server has some kind of brittle dependency which breaks webpacking. We’ve also never been able to get a repro on our side - I think it’s highly system and system-load dependent. I apologize, and we hope to get to the bottom of these eventually.
