ConEmu: Show Error text when input a Japanese character.
・ would be convert to ? , and python would read this ? . (same error in cmd)
Just paste this line python tests.py -p "E:\シュート・ザ・ムーン (フエタキシ)" into ConEmu, you would know what I say.

This is an MS bug in Katakana implementation in Chinese Windows 😃 Perhaps they think you don’t need Katakana?
Font mapper believes the default font has your character, but it doesn’t in fact. So, nothing to do with ConEmu.
Workaround: Choose “MS Gothic” and CJK range in Alternative font.
