mc-magento: Cronjob mailchimp_bulksync_ecommerce_data Crashes Frequently

We often encounter the issue that the cronjob mailchimp_bulksync_ecommerce_data does not finish and blocks all other cronjobs. #346 is probably related, but obviously does not solve the issue completely. #665 could be related as well. I already set mailchimp/ecommerce/order_batch_amount to the lowest possible value (50). What else can I do, so that Mailchimp does not block all other cronjobs? Could you solve this issue somehow? #665 is marked as “priority”, but is not solved since March…
