core: unable to restart via UI

The problem

It seems that since i’m running dev i’m unable to restart via the ui I don’t get any error messages same goes for checkng the config as soon as i do it via the CLI with ha core restart, ha core check or run an update that seems to work.

Rebooting the system via the UI works.

It is. iOS 14. But I also have MacOS Big Sur beta, and it works, unlike the description in the issue you linked to… Not sure that is relevant…

You’ll only see it on Big Sur using Safari Technology Preview I believe. If you’re on iOS 14b5 you almost certainly have that issue sadly. See home-assistant/frontend#6654 and home-assistant/iOS#925
