core: Unable to add Broadlink integration for RM4 Mini
The problem
Environment
- Home Assistant Core release with the issue: 0.116.2
- Last working Home Assistant Core release (if known): Has never worked for me
- Operating environment (OS/Container/Supervised/Core): Version is 116.2 running on Synology NAS using docker, direct installation of “latest” docker image
- Integration causing this issue: Broadlink
- Link to integration documentation on our website: https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/broadlink/
Problem-relevant configuration.yaml
nothing relevant in configuration.yaml
Traceback/Error logs
Logger: homeassistant.components.broadlink
Source: components/broadlink/config_flow.py:46
Integration: broadlink (documentation, issues)
First occurred: 13:24:43 (1 occurrences)
Last logged: 13:24:43
Unsupported device: 0x653a. If it worked before, please open an issue at https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues
Additional information
When I add the integration it asks for IP address. Seems to try to communicate with the device and then comes back with “Not Supported”. Have trawled through dozens of posts about RM4 mini, with some saying that it was made to work in a recent release but I have two of them and both give “Unsupported device: 0x653a”
