core: Tuya Integration Failed to Unload (No Entities)

The problem

My Tuya devices are all missing all of a sudden. When I click reload, it tells me to restart. It does not work. I tried relinking my Tuya App to the Tuya Cloud account which did not prove successful here.

yet more proof why you can’t trust ‘cloud-based’ services not to scr*w you over!

Is there a way to connect Tuya devices directly to HomeAssistant?

localtuya seems to still work for my light bulbs

Closing this issue. Please see #80278 for more information.

If that doesn’t help, please contact Tuya support. This is not solvable by us or an issue of the Home Assistant project, but an issue with your account / Tuya cloud.

To contact support please log in into your Tuya IoT cloud account and use their ticketing system.

Thanks 👍

Same happening to me. Pretty scummy from them

Same here, I don’t think it’s because of the HA update. I lost TUYA integration at 3:56 p.m Capture d’écran 2024-02-02 à 16 35 13

If I hadn’t started the migration to Zigbee and much more nothing would work for me Capture d’écran 2024-02-02 à 16 39 32

If we look in repository of this integration… all files has updates 2 days ago… maaaaaybeeeee… something happens here ?

Is working in web… Is working in tuya app… Is working from alexa…

Is not working only with home assistant !!!

Remove tuya integration , added it again and use tuya app to authorize it will be start to works , but all power , voltage , consumption will be disabled by integration , this is not working yet , so do not enable it manually becouse it will broke integration , and you will be need to remove and added it againg , btw also name of sensor will be change to you “local” language from english

Thanks, when I attempt to add Tuya again, I dont see the option to put my USER Code. I just have the old way. How did you do it again?

@frenck Thank you for letting me know… I guess this was a mistake, and I’m glad I kept my Tuya devices to a minimum…

I just had a similar issue. where it stopped working. try to do the device debugging on the IoT website. My account said something about a subscription and it would not send commands through the debug tool. After i recreated a new account it worked again. i didnt sign up for anything using the basic plan and individual developer account #109383 image

Can you elaborate on this one? How did you recreate your a new account?

I deleted all my cloud projects with my first account and closed it. since i own a few domains just made a new email address and signed up with that new email. I only had to do that on the Tuya IoT site not the Smart Life app. Inside the new account i was able to link the existing smart life account again with no issues.

Did you have to recreate automations, scenes, etc in HA?

For me No. since I did not change the device names or anything in the smart life app when i attached the new account in HA they had the same name

Exactly, I have already replaced 80% of my equipment with Zigbee… precisely if this problem were to arise.
