core: Tplink HS210 shows incorrect state after state change
The problem
When I change the state in the UI of hass for the HS210 it causes the correct physical change, but then strangely it goes back to the incorrect state for roughly 10-15 seconds. It’s a little hard to describe so I recorded a demo video of it here:
I also have several HS220 and HS200 and those all work exactly as expected. I have several HS210’s and all of those have this same problem. All devices are running the latest firmware’s from tplink. hass is at the latest also. I’ve had this problem since I first setup this integration in August 2020.

Additional information
This is a duplicate of https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues/46869 which needs to be reopened. I’m experiencing it; it’s still a problem. I want to fix it, but the fix claimed here https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues/46869#issuecomment-799390288 doesn’t apply cleanly anymore.

I tested the linked PR against my installation which would reproduce the problem and it resolved the issue completely!
I’m ok with a patch like ^. I’d like to apply a test patch (and I can) but I’d like to do if from an open PR to test something that could be merged after testing. Can someone open such a PR? Also am I right in understanding that it would go against pyHS100 and a new release made post merge?
will check it later today …
Ok here’s a raw capture over the time period when I changed the HS210 at roughly
