core: Tado integration not working properly since 2021.2.0

The problem

Since 2021.2.0 i can’t set the temperature or select heat with Tado. I tried the following:

  • Increase temperature > It jumps back to the previous state

  • Select Heat > It jumps back to the previous state

  • Select Off > This settings works

  • Select Auto > This settings works

  • Restored 2021.1.5 snapshot > The Tado integrations works correct.

  • Fresh 2021.2.0 install with only Tado > Same problem, cannot increase the temperature or select Heat

The problem i encouter: tado

Seems to be a workaround by disable fallback on Tado integration

This is not a bug, but a bad combination of Home Assistant config and Tado schedules config. I’ve succesfully reproduced your issue by creating only 1 block of time on my Tado schedules and enabling fallback mode on Tado config: image

If you enable Tado fallback mode on Tado integration, then you need to have at least 2 blocks in Tado schedules: image

If you define only 1 block in Tado schedules, you should disable Tado fallback mode, since there’s nothing to fallback to: image In this case, since there’s only 1 schedule, it’s impossible to fallback to schedule, because there’s no schedule change (it’s the same schedule 24/7).

In the integrations section, find the Tado one e click in Options.

Thanks alot, i did try to look there, but nothing came op when i clicked options, after reinstall and install it showed me the fallback option, thanks 😃

Same issue here and I also confirm that it starts to happen after update to 2021.2.0.

I tested the service tado.set_climate_timer and this one is working properly.

Thanks! Will use this as a workaround
