core: Rainmachine sensor values incorrect

The problem

I just installed a Rainmachine Touch HD-12 (Firmware version 4.0.1135, Device model 3, API 4.6.1) to my Docker instance of Home-assistant (v. core-2021.6.5). The switches all show up fine, and work as expected, but many of the attributes are wrong, as are some sensor values, inasmuch as they don’t match what’s shown in either the locally-accessed WebUI of the Rainmachine, or what I see via my.rainmachine.com. I have tried rebooting my RainMachine, and reloading the integration, and am out of ideas.

In setting up the rainmachine, I specified soil type for each of my seven active zones as “loamy sand.” The attributes for these zones in Home Assistant variously show up as either “Silty Clay” or “Clay Loam.” The zones I have configured as “Popup Spray” or “Surface Drip” correctly show these attributes, but those characterized as “Rotors High Rate” show up with type “-” in Home Assistant.

In Home Assistant there is a “binary_sensor.extra_water_on_hot_days” sensor which is always “Off” – if this is supposed to correspond to the RainMachine setting under Settings -> Restrictions -> “Hot Days Allow extra watering” it does not appear to do so; can’t find what else it might be supposed to correspond to.
