Would be my honour to test, please allow me a few minutes to get this running. Will post results ASAP

I used the proposed “custom_components” fix above and rebuilt my HA docker with 2021.8.3 and HomeKit appears to be working again!

Sounds like the fix didn’t work. I have an old mac that I can try installing Home Assistant on later today. Maybe I’ll be able to replicate the issue
