My hardware consists of a raspberry PI 3B (V1.2), a zzh (CC2652R Stick) zigbee stick and a 32 GB Micro SD card. Integrations: Agent DVR, 2x FRITZ!Box (router), HACS, Meteorologisk Institutt, Mobile App, MQTT mosquitto broker, Philips HUE, Raspberry pi power supply checker, IKEA, TUYA Hacs integrations: Afvalwijzer (waste scheduling), SONOFF LAN, Fritz!box tools, Yahoo finance. Add-ons: Check HA config, DuckDNS, file editor, mosquitto broker, Samba share, terminal @SSH, Wireguard, zigbee2MQTT.

I installed the standardised home assistant operating system through Raspberry Pi - Home Assistant (home-assistant.io). Now on version core-2021.3.3 (updated today to .4) Router: Fritz!Box 7590 Philips Hue Bridge and motion sensor Ikea bridge and two lightbulbs 4 Aqara motion detectors (added after freeze) 4 aqara temperature sensors (added after freeze) 3-5 Sonoff mini’s 3-5 wifi wall plugs (Tuya) 2 smoke alarms (added after freeze) Cat is not allowed to come near the PI… Neither is the dog… Not the season for spiders

@hdehaseleer @skp3c0 welcome to our sunday night club!

New SD-card, new Monday, no crash!! So, the Kingston High Endurance Class 10, A1, U1, 64GB works OK (for now).

@mlangenberg I am not sure yet about the log files. Hoping to get some input myself as I have the original card available.

What I did:

  • create a full snapshot of the current configuration and copy the snapshot to my laptop
  • Write the newest image of Home assistant to the SD card using balenaetcher (see installation guide)
  • Insert the new card into the PI
  • Start up the PI (had to use a network cable as the Wifi is not working yet)
  • The installation asks how you want to do stuff: you can choose to reinstate one of your snapshots

Give it some time, It starts running and all stuff (switches, sensors, zigbee stick, lights, philips HUE, IKEA) is visible and worknig again without any problem.

Issues (small ones):

  • Still have to get my WIFI working again, is apparently not part of the snapshot
  • All the android home assistant apps still point to the old IP address and do not work, notifications do work btw and can reach HA through the browser without issues
  • The PI has a new IP address, need to release the IP address in my router and assign it to the “new” PI
  • Remote access not working yet

My HA is Ok😁🥂🍾 the problem is SD card

No… i Turn off Terminal SSH addon and 00:34 still working but in the morning i see that stop again…i Will buy a new sd card classe 2 can be classe 1?

Yes @mib1185. I will dry a new one over the weekend

@mib1185 @Plevuus no problem. I will hook up a monitor. Have not done this before so am curious what I will see 😉

Same issue here. (also involved through community post). According to this community post at least 6 people have the same issue. some info and background below:

The problem

HA stops functioning every Monday morning around 1:30AM. Automations seem to stop working, Samba and SSH access are down. The front-end is still available most of the times (not always), but the history is not working anymore. The supervisor tab also shows a blank screen. Trying to shutdown or reboot via server configuration doesn’t do anything. The only way to get things up and running again is by power-cycling the Rpi. Sometimes more than one power cycle is needed. After a successful reboot I see that the last history recordings have happened around 1:30AM.

HassOS - core-2021.3.4 - supervisor-2021.03.6 - Home Assistant OS 5.12. running on a Rpi 3B+ with the official Rpi PSU (5.1V, 2.5A) with Aeon Labs Z-Stick. Brand new Kingston 16GB Class 4 micro SD.

What was the last working version of Home Assistant Core?

I do not exactly know when the issues started, but I guess it was somewhere in early/mid January 2021. The first time I was surprised, but simply restarted without paying too much attention. These things can happen, right? The second time I was surprised again and wondered what could have been the cause. I guess after the third or fourth time I realized it was always on Mondays. Then a few weeks went by trying to figure the cause myself and about 3 weeks ago I started seeking help in the community. So, I do not really know since which SW version the issues started. Before that the exact same hardware has been running for ~18 months without any issue. I did replace the SD card for an identical one 2 weeks ago, but that did not solve the issue.
