core: Cant find time_remaining zone attribute

The problem

I am using the rainmachine integration and im trying to find the ‘time_remaining’ zone attribute. I want to be able to add this to a custom button when a zone is running. Ive seen references to this attribute in other issues so it seems like it exists. However i never see that in my attributes of a given zone when i turn that zone on.

just thought id share what i did with the card and your integration:

i made a custom button-card that when i tap it, it turns on the zone for 10 mins. There is a countdown timer there using the logic mentioned above. Works great.

I still have to set it up that you can click on the embedded icon on the right and change the time duration.

Thanks again for your work on this. Super useful.

Ok i get it now… Thanks for the response!

Thanks so much for the kind words!

Thanks for that. These would be really great to fix. I’ve noticed this issue as well. I just want to thank you for all your hard work on this integration. I use it all the time especially when I’m troubleshooting my irrigation system out in the yard. You were integration with Home Assistant is far more useable and responsive than Rainmachine’s own application.
