google-cloud-ruby: Datastore: Google::Cloud::InvalidArgumentError: 3:The referenced transaction has expired or is no longer valid

Hello. What does this error mean? Is there any way to find further information about it?

This only happens on 0.12.2, and not on 0.7.2, and only on a staging server, not locally.

Any idea what might be going on? Currently, the only way to fix this is to run 0.7.2, but 0.7.2 won’t work locally then due to an auth error. Something seems seriously wrong
