actions: TypeError: (e || "").replace is not a function

I just got the following exception while running gittools/actions/gitversion/execute@v0.9.2:

(node:2814) UnhandledPromiseRejectionWarning: TypeError: (e || "").replace is not a function

Any idea what might cause this?
