If known, describe the steps to reproduce the issue:
xiwi blender&
fails - maybe related to the core dump issue?
Tried reinstalling crouton, tried updating sid, tried removing xorg from the target.
Any other suggestions?!

My guess is that Google have added a kernel module to prevent Crouton from working on fairly new Chromebooks. But it is only a guess.
latest upgrade to version 78 fixes the issue where in crouton extension had to be disabled/enabled periodically.xiwi works reliably hand in hand with the crouton extension.
