I did replace the HDD with an SSD and the issue was resolved. I am planning to give away my laptop, anyway.
Hello everyone, sorry for the late reply. This weekend, I am replacing my laptop’s HDD with an SSD. Hopefully, this resolves the issue. Someone I know believes that the issue is related to fragmentation in the HDD. I have had problems in the past installing a few apps (Logitech Options and Scenebuilder). If this does not resolve the issue, I will likely buy a new laptop because my laptop is aging anyway.
