XiaoMi-Pro-Hackintosh: Internal Intel WiFi cannot connect to any network after upgrade to Sonoma

Pre-requirement

  • Tried resetting NVRAM to no avail

State the model XiaoMi-Pro MX150 with 8th gen i7

State the version of the EFI

  • XiaoMi_Pro-KBL-OC-v1.8.1.zip

Describe the bug

  • Installed Catalina via Network recovery. All went well after reboot and system was usable with working Bluetooth and WiFi.
  • Updated to Sonoma via System Configuration -> Software Updates
  • Internal wifi is recognized, can seemingly be switched on and off, reads WiFi networks, but connecting to any network fails (2.4GHz and 5GHz alike). Bluetooth works just fine.

Attach your entire EFI folder EFI.zip

Attach system.log

  • If applicable, please run log show --predicate "processID == 0" --last boot --debug | grep "ERR" in Terminal.app to help locate the problem - system.log.zip

I received multiple reports on Sonoma Wi-Fi, and it seems related to the https://github.com/OpenIntelWireless/itlwm/commit/2637e9014b7af098974c8d6db69230f75fb20a90 in AirportItlwm kext.

A workaround for now is to use v1.8.0 EFI.

@xjh169 再确认一下,你使用 itlwm仓库里的 https://github.com/OpenIntelWireless/itlwm/releases/tag/v2.3.0-alpha 是有会出现问题?不是 issue 里面的包

今天上班,改天有空再测吧

@eduard-sukharev AirportItlwm v2.2.0 does not support Sonoma. The most convenient way is to downgrading to v1.8.0 EFI, or replace /OC/EFI/Kext/AirportItlwm_Sonoma.kext with the older one in v1.8.0.
