I have some issues installing valet with composer. I’m running a debian 8
Here’s what it returns
➜ valet-linux valet install
You have missing Valet dependiencies:
- NetworkManager
Please refer to https://cpriego.github.io/valet-linux/requirements on how to install them.
and here’s what apt show network-manager returns:
➜ valet-linux apt show network-manager

.
Dépendances optionnelles⋅:
*⋅ppp⋅: requis pour établir des connexions commutées (par exemple par
GSM)⋅;
*⋅dnsmasq-base/iptables⋅: requis pour créer des connexions ponctuelles et
des partages de connexion⋅;
*⋅avahi-autoipd : utilisé pour IPv4LL, un protocole pour la configuration
automatique d'adresses IP locales⋅;
*⋅libteam-utils⋅: le pilote Network Team permet à plusieurs interfaces

On Debian, there’s no “NetworkManager”, instead we have “nmcli”. So replacing “NetworkManager” with “nmcli” would work too. Also, it would force the original dependency check.
@Ljz7 Removing “NetworkManager” from line 14 works for me. Thanks!
Had the same issue. Would it be safe to replace
NetworkManagerwithnmcliin the dependency check?
