best-practices-badge: Cannot save the Basics section in Microsoft Edge
When clicking the “Save (and continue)” button within the “Basics” section using Microsoft Edge browser the following error message appears:
“You must use this format: License in SPDX license expression format, e.g., “MIT” or “GPL-3.0+””
The word “MIT” was imported from my package.json
file in Github, and I also tried to manually select the license from the provided list, with the same result. In Google Chrome the button works as expected.
Thanks for fixing this issue.

PR https://github.com/coreinfrastructure/best-practices-badge/pull/1312 simplifies the license pattern… maybe this will resolve it?
@adamjstone - I don’t know if your speculation is correct, but it’s an excellent hypothesis. The change will make the code a little simpler regardless, so it’s a good thing to do no matter what… and if it resolves the problem I’ll be glad!
I’m hoping that https://github.com/coreinfrastructure/best-practices-badge/pull/1229 will resolve this.
