containerd: containerd memory leak under load
Description
There is a huge difference between memory used by pods and node memory usage , when we check it on worker node it seems that containerd itself using the most memory, the problem happens for one of our product teams as we use reserved kubernetes clusters for product teams and all of our kubernetes clusters have the same configuration with version cycle,
the node gets oom after a while
we believe, we are triggering this leak with a bug on containerd , but couldnt address it

Steps to reproduce the issue
- when grpc based high tp apps get high load , containerd process doesnt seem release the allocated memory
Describe the results you received and expected
we tried to get the profiling data for containerd
first we opened the debug on config.toml

but the result seemed logging func allocate the most memory , since the debug is open, we werent sure about it was our case,

What version of containerd are you using?
containerd://1.6.4 and containerd://1.4.6

use this pr can reduce some memory https://github.com/containerd/containerd/pull/8239 by setting log-uri=file, containerd will use less memory
I was not referring to the containerd process logs, but to the logs of the containers. These are the logs decorated by the CRI and cause the memory allocation in your pprof output.
