amplify-cli: Amplify push fails, then rollback fails

Describe the bug

amplify init
amplify add auth
amplify push # FAILS, then rollback FAILS

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create new app, per yesterday’s blog post.
  2. Follow amplify add auth from this gist; no errors.
  3. Run amplify push; the UserPool create fails, and then the rollback fails; see above gist.

Expected behavior I expected amplify push to succeed.

Screenshots I now see the following in CloudFormation console: Screen Shot 2019-04-03 at 5 07 10 PM

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: MacOS 10.14.3
  • Browser: n/a
  • Version: Amplify 1.5.1

Additional context I re-used the Facebook App ID & secret of an existing FB app which works fine.
