angular: Angular 2 QuickStart Live-server error

I am new to angular and I have been trying to learn more about angular2. I have followed the getting started guide to create the angular2-quickstart project. However when I am running the command npm start, the browser start but everything fails after 1 second. Below is the content of my npm error log file:

Change "start": "tsc && concurrently \"npm run tsc:w\" \"npm run lite\" to "start": "concurrently \"npm run tsc:w\" \"npm run lite\" worked for me

i have just solved it in centos 6. the reason is that gulp/watcher need more memo. add a string fs.inotify.max_user_watches = 524288 into /etc/sysctl.conf. and restart os or sudo sysctl -p

In windows. Just reinstall lite-server. Steps below:

After I got this error, I uninstalled lite-server using

npm uninstall lite-server

Then reinstalled it by running

npm install lite-server --save-dev

This fixed the issue. Then just run

npm start

Hey, I had the exact same issue and I fixed it by updating the package.json and updating lite server to 1.3.2 - currently it’s set at *^1.3.1 - once I updated the package.json, I removed the node_modules file and npm install’d again.

Hope this helps!

Oh and one other thing. I was running on a server that had 512mg of Ram. That wasn’t enough space and the error I was getting didn’t really say anything to that effect. It just said “Killed”. Anyway, I upgraded to 1gig and it’s fine.

Just in case, that s.o. steps by: use this package.json instead of the one on the quickstart page: https://github.com/johnpapa/angular2-tour-of-heroes/blob/master/package.json

i have the same issue but when i run npm run lite instead of npm start it works???

Yup npm run lite works too also @diamo1213 conf works
