CudaText: [Insert Time] Computer locale not used

If I insert a time with the plugin Insert Time on my French computer, I get Wednesday 08. March.2023. Shouldn’t I get a French string instead?

In the doc at https://strftime.org/, it says for example:

• %A -> Weekday as locale’s full name.
