You’re welcome bro!

The issue stays not fixed in the software though

I can’t fix all issues that happen because of high DPI. I tried several methods before but unfortunately they didn’t fix these issues properly. I’ll try to fix small icons issue in next updates

  • I have just known the issue, it is a bug in Windows.
  • When CaptionWidth registry value is too low (or classic button width is lower than 18 in WinPaletter) with custom scaling is made (not from the first scaling combo box menu), icons will be extremely small.
  • To solve it, keep classic button width 18 or higher in WinPaletter, logoff and logon.
  • You are using 125% DPI, you should select it from the menu and dismiss custom DPI value that you manually enter.
  • It will be partially fixed in next update (list and custom DPI will work), you should logoff after applying a theme if a custom DPI value is set (not chosen from the list, but entered)

    That is good.

Did you use Windows 98 theme in Store?

Nope, only the “AMOLED” theme and custom personal edits

    i’m going to test again

I tested enabling/disabling every setting in this panel, and apparently it has been fixed.

AMOLED and other Store themes will apply the edited aspects inside them, and so there is this problem Read this: https://github.com/Abdelrhman-AK/WinPaletter/wiki/WinPaletter-Store-basics#6-themes-aspects-review

Make sure that you disable Metrics every time you apply a theme, and always check Store themes items.

Even this didn’t work with you? https://gearupwindows.com/fix-spinning-dots-or-circle-animation-doesnt-appear-on-reboot-or-shutdown-screen-in-windows-11/

Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\BootControl and delete BootProgressAnimation
